NHS Rally

NHS RALLY (25.01.2018)

Jeremy Corbyn and Jonathan Ashworth joined some of our amazing doctors and nurses at last night's NHS rally.

The rally was streamed live and received 79,000 views in 12 hours!

In the aftermath of war and national bankruptcy, the National Health Service was the proud achievement of a Labour government. Today, after eight years of cuts, the NHS is in what some say is a humanitarian crisis.

But as Jonathan Ashworth, Labour's Shadow Secretary for Health, said at the rally:

"It's way beyond a humanitarian crisis, let's call it what it is, it's a Tory manufactured crisis in our NHS."

 Watch the rally here:

The Conservatives privatisation campaign is all about benefiting private health providers.

Labour will invest in our NHS, to give patients the modern, well-resourced services they need for the 21st century.

There were powerful and inspiring contributions from the speakers:

“[The NHS] it’s not a business.. we built it up with our tax, so that our children and our grandchildren would have free healthcare”!
