In May 2007, John Denham MP and Alan Whitehead MP were re-selected to fight the Parliamentary constituency seats of Southampton Itchen and Southampton Test at the next General Election.

Aktar Beg was selected to be the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the Romsey and Southampton North constituency.
